16 Years of Growth and Success: Oasis Land Development Ltd’s Journey in the Cayman Islands

In 2008, Oasis Land Development Ltd embarked on an exciting journey, drawn to the pristine white sands, turquoise waters, and burgeoning property market of the Cayman Islands. With its tax-neutral jurisdiction and appeal as both a prime investment destination and a tropical paradise, this British Overseas Territory was the perfect fit for Oasis’ vision. Recognising the potential to attract international buyers, Oasis began establishing its presence in the Cayman Islands.

Now, 16 years later, Oasis has grown and adapted in remarkable ways, overcoming challenges and seizing new opportunities. Through all the changes, one constant has been the resilience and strength of the Cayman Islands’ property market.

Our journey began in a challenging time—launching right as the Great Recession hit in 2008. The Middle East, one of our key markets, was significantly affected. Anticipating the need for change, Oasis shifted focus to Asia in 2009, which proved to be a turning point. We flourished in the Asian market, establishing offices in Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Shanghai, and other major hubs. This expansion also extended into the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Europe, building a robust global network.

Reflecting on the past 16 years, Oasis has achieved significant growth. Today, Oasis Land Development Ltd is recognised as a leading land developer in the Cayman Islands. One of our proudest accomplishments is Selworthy Grove, a sold-out community on Cayman Brac featuring over 311 freehold building plots—the largest of its kind. In addition to Selworthy Grove, we’ve sold numerous Cayman Islands freehold plots, including oceanfront parcels, hotel developments on Little Cayman, and garden view plots on Grand Cayman’s East End and Cayman Brac’s bluff top.

Beyond real estate, Oasis provides a five-star concierge service in the Cayman Islands, ensuring that our clients and their families feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive. Since 2012, Oasis has also been dedicated to philanthropy, raising over £30,000 for charitable causes through activities like Tough Mudder challenges and marathons. This commitment to giving back reflects the core values of our company.
