The Cayman Islands is three islands, not one. Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman each offer a different lifestyle, price point, and buyer profile. Oasis Land Development sells freehold land on all three. This guide compares them side-by-side to help you choose the right island for your purchase.

Grand Cayman
The largest island and the international hub of the Cayman Islands. Grand Cayman is home to George Town (the capital and global financial centre), Seven Mile Beach, and the majority of restaurants, schools, hospitals, and amenities. Direct flights connect to most major US and Canadian cities, plus the UK and Europe.
Our Grand Cayman developments are located in the East End and North Side districts — the most unspoilt parts of the island, away from the West Bay tourist density but still within easy reach of full-island amenities. Flagship developments include Rum Retreat near Rum Point and Beach Bar, and Signature One on the East End coast.
Best for: buyers who want a primary residence, want strong rental potential (3-bed villa rates $350–$600/night, 4-bed oceanfront $500–$1,200/night), or who value full-amenity island living.

Cayman Brac
The "Explorer's Island" — 14 square miles dominated by The Bluff, a 140-foot limestone ridge running the length of the island. Cayman Brac is famous for world-class scuba diving (including the wreck of the MV Captain Keith Tibbetts), deep-sea fishing, and a quieter, more authentic Caymanian lifestyle. The recent Amazon Prime film "The Bluff" was shot here.
Cayman Brac offers mixed-use zoning on selected parcels, making it particularly attractive for buyers planning eco-retreats, dive lodges, vacation rentals, or boutique hospitality concepts. Build coverage is capped at 25%.
Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (CYB) connects Cayman Brac to Grand Cayman with quick inter-island flights and bi-weekly direct flights from Miami.
Best for: adventure-driven buyers, retirees seeking a quieter base, eco-developers, and anyone wanting a freehold lot at a lower price point than Grand Cayman.

Little Cayman
The smallest and most exclusive of the three islands — 10 miles long with approximately 170 permanent residents. Little Cayman offers what might be the closest experience to owning a piece of your own private Caribbean island. It's home to Bloody Bay Wall (one of the world's top dive sites with a 2,000-metre drop), Owen Island (a pristine uninhabited island accessible only by boat), Point of Sand (secluded eastern beach), and Blossom Village (the small island centre).
Like Cayman Brac, Little Cayman offers mixed-use zoning on selected parcels — ideal for low-density eco-retreats and ultra-private vacation properties. Build coverage capped at 25%.
Edward Bodden Airfield connects Little Cayman to Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac. Tourist density is the lowest in the entire Caribbean.
Best for: buyers prioritising privacy, exclusivity, and connection to nature; eco-developers; anyone planning a low-key second home or family escape; those who value scarcity (very few lots ever come to market on Little Cayman).

Which island is right for you?
Choose Grand Cayman if you want: a primary residence; strong short-term rental potential; full amenities (hospitals, international schools, supermarkets, restaurants); direct international flight access; the largest selection of lots and developments.
Choose Cayman Brac if you want: a quieter island with adventure-driven culture; world-class diving from your doorstep; lower entry price than Grand Cayman; mixed-use zoning options; the dramatic Bluff coastline.
Choose Little Cayman if you want: the most private and exclusive Cayman experience; near-zero crowds; mixed-use zoning; a true eco / off-grid lifestyle option; scarcity value (very limited supply).
What's identical across all three islands
Regardless of which island you choose, the legal framework is the same:

- Zero annual land or property tax
- No restrictions on foreign ownership

- Same 0% interest payment plan from Oasis Land Development
- Same Miami-Dade Category 5 hurricane construction codes
