How does the payment plan work?

Step 1 - Reservation Fee:

Choose the land you like on our website and click 'Reserve’. You pay the USD $250.00 reservation fee which holds your land off the market for 10 days.

Step 2 - Due Diligence:

Review the Purchase Agreement and legal documents within 10 days. Our Cayman Islands advisor will contact you to answer any questions. If you prefer not to be contacted, please select this preference at checkout and provide details of how you would like to be contacted.

Step 3 - Deposit:

Pay your fixed deposit, as seen on the payment breakdown within your chosen land listing.

Step 4 - Exchanged Agreement:

Once you have signed the paperwork, completed AML and paid your deposit the Agreement will be exchanged in the Cayman Islands, and you will become the legal contracting purchaser of your chosen building land.

Step 5 - Payment Plan:

Spread the balance over 6 years, 0% interest. Pay using 72 fixed monthly payments, the first payment starts two months after your Purchase Agreement is exchanged in the Cayman Islands.

Step 6 - Transfer of Title:

When the monthly payments are complete, the ownership title for the building land transfers to you.

Can anyone use the Payment Plan to purchase building land?

Yes. The Cayman Islands allow foreigners to own land and property. To qualify for the interest-free payment plan, you must pass anti-money laundering checks. Oasis requires no credit checks. Here's how the purchase process works:

  • Pay a $250 reservation fee (fully refundable until the Purchase Agreement is signed).
  • Upload your ID and a recent utility bill via a link to ID Pal.
  • Oasis completes a compliance check using World Compliance.
  • Provide details about your source of funds to our compliance officer.

What is the deposit amount? How flexible is the deposit?

Can payments be made via credit card?

Yes, the $250 reservation fee can be paid via credit card using a secure Stripe link. Deposits and monthly payments must be paid via bank transfer or Wise.

How long is the payment plan?

No hidden fees. The Cayman Islands have no annual land or property taxes. Additional costs include a 7.5% stamp duty and a $1,250 legal transfer fee.
